was started by a family in Baljeet Nagar, Delhi, with one classroom, providing lessons for children in the local community.
This family project has blossomed into a multifaceted NGO that aims to increase the life opportunities of the poorest members of

is offering many different ways of helping these people including education, women empowerment, spirituality
and nutrition. These 4 things are seen as a way of alleviating poverty and allowing the people to grow in confidence and personality.
It was set up in 2003 and since then has grown in the numbers of pupils, teachers and volunteers and also continues to have social
workers, charity travel planners, spiritual practitioners and musicians. Wahoe has many projects on the go, with the majority of them
falling under four categories: teaching children; women's empowerment; community kitchen and a conservation programme.
Volunteers can help out in any way they can. With children, this mostly means giving classes in English. For women's and village
empowerment, if you have a special skill to share, such as jewellery making or sewing, you can give classes to share this knowledge
with the local people, ultimately providing underprivileged families with the means to future self-employment.
With our conservation programme you could help us collecting trash from trails in Trans-Himalayas and teaching children
about nature and wildlife conservation. In our community kitchen you could share your skills and food with unprivileged children.
